Press Start

[Intro] Coin drop. Screen on. Player One selected. Kirari: Eh? Wait—me? Okay then… Press start! [Verse 1] Neon lights are blinking, cabinet glow, One little button and away I go, Pixel wind blowing through my hair, Falling through the screen like I own the air. Level one, tiny shoes on fire, Jump that gap, climb a little higher, Missed the coin, slipped on the floor, Laugh it off, then I try once more. Blocks go up, and the stars fall down, Enemies dancing all over town, No map, no guide, no perfect route, But I’ve got rhythm in my boots! [Pre-Chorus] Left, right, dodge that doubt, Spin around, find my way out, Every wall has a hidden key, Every glitch is calling me. Aoi/Rei backing: Calling me… calling me… Kirari: Heart beat syncing with the screen, This is more than a dream! [Chorus] Press start, jump in, Kirari’s on the run, Pixel sky, neon sun, every world is fun, Game over? No way, I’m not done, One more life in my heart — continue, continue! Press start, don’t stop, colors collide, High score dreams on a digital ride, If I fall, I’ll fly next time, Player One heart beating bright! Aoi/Rei backing: Continue, continue! Continue, continue! [Verse 2] Puzzle room spinning, doors all locked, Tick-tock beat on a candy clock, Slide that block, turn that key, Oops, wrong way—still looks good to me! Now I’m racing on a rainbow road, Turbo sparks and my engine glows, Rei’s up ahead with a serious face, She says, “Kirari, pick up the pace.” Kirari: Hey! No fair, you got the red flame boost! I got sunshine and a chick caboose! Aoi laughs from the bonus stage, Singing star notes off the page! [Pre-Chorus 2] Up, down, don’t look back, Dance my way through the final track, Every world keeps changing rules, But I was never scared to move. Aoi/Rei backing: Never scared… never scared… Kirari: Even lost inside the light, I’ll make the game shine bright! [Dance Break / Kirari Rap] Combo, combo, step to the beat, Yellow flash with the arcade feet, Boss fight? Cute. I’ve seen worse. Put my courage in an eight-bit verse. Jump, dash, sparkle attack, No sad ending, I’m rewriting that, One more round, one more try, Watch me punch a hole through the sky! Crowd chant: Press! Start! Press! Start! Press! Start! Press! Start! Kirari: Who’s Player One? Crowd: Kirari! Kirari: Who’s got my back? Crowd: Cosmic Prism! [Bridge] Then the screen went quiet, And the colors disappeared, A shadow with my own voice Whispered every fear. Too loud. Too much. Not enough. Try again. Rei: Stand up. Aoi: You’re not alone. Kirari: My hands were shaking, But I smiled anyway, Because Player One Doesn’t mean I play alone today. No perfect score, no perfect heart, But I still know where to start. [Final Chorus] Press start, jump in, Kirari’s on the run, Pixel sky, neon sun, every world is fun, Game over? No way, I’m not done, One more life in my heart — continue, continue! Press start, don’t stop, colors collide, High score dreams on a digital ride, If I fall, I’ll fly next time, Player One heart beating bright! All: Press start, jump in, we’re lighting up the screen, Three hearts shining in a prism dream, World by world, we found our spark, New high score inside our hearts! Continue, continue! Continue, continue! Kirari: No save point, no perfect route, Still I’ll dance my way right through, If the world says game over tonight— All: Press start and come alive! [Outro] Arcade victory sound. Digital voice: New high score! Kirari: Hehe… Again? All: Press start!
