Time Won't Wait JP 2 550

[Verse] Hands of time they mock us now Running circles round our brow Tides of hours ebb and flows Past and future trading blows [Verse 2] When the sunshine breaks the day Minutes sprint then drift away In the darkness, they conspire Slow like Dali's clocks --near a fire [Chorus] Time don’t wait and time don’t care Leaves us breathless, gasping air Chase it catch it --let it go Time’s a whisper --Time’s a roar [Verse 3] Hurried steps on quicksand floors Lost in a labyrinth of closed, locked doors Jigsaw puzzles of our days Fitting pieces as they fray [Bridge] Grains of sand slip through my hands Wishing clocks would understand Fast or slow there’s no debate Time won’t argue, time won’t wait [Repeat Chorus]
