[Verse 1] I remember the nights I was desperate and worn, Calling out to the dark with my heart nearly torn, The help that I needed came finding me there — A whisper of grace that answered my prayer. [Pre-Chorus] Pharaoh's forces pursue like a dog at the hunt, The way is hedged up to the water front, Still believing, Christ — into the water we plunge, Walking on dry ground where Pharaoh is never found. [Chorus] The Red Sea will open for those who believe, Cast not away your confidence — go forward, don't pause, Shall we not go on in so great a cause, Dry ground will be found — on, on to victory, Seek revelation and you'll stand on solid ground. [Verse 2] No one can cross the Red Sea that way they say, So what — there's always a first time, so believe, Revelation brings courage so cast out every fear, Jump in with both feet and watch the water clear. [Bridge] The Red Sea will open for those who believe, Cast not away your confidence — go forward, don't pause, Shall we not go on in so great a cause, Dry ground will be found — on, on to victory, Seek revelation and the answer will be found. [Final Chorus] The Red Sea will open for those who believe, Cast not away your confidence — go forward, don't pause, Shall we not go on in so great a cause, Dry ground will be found — on, on to victory, Seek revelation and you'll never be bound.
