# GIRLS DON’T BACK DOWN [Intro – Female Vocal] Hey, sister! You think you’re tough? Well, come on! Let’s see what you’ve got! [Verse 1] You walked in wearing that fancy dress, Talking big like you’re the best, You looked my way with a wicked grin, Well, honey, let the showdown begin! You took my man? I don’t really care, But don’t you mess with me standing there, I’ve got my boots and my attitude, Tonight I’m in a fighting mood! [Chorus] Girls don’t back down! Not in this town! Underneath the neon light, We’re gonna rumble tonight! Girls don’t run! We’re having fun! Shake your fists and stomp your feet, Two wild women in the street! [Backing Vocals] (Ooh-ooh!) Girls don’t back down! (Yeah-yeah!) Shake this town! (Ooh-ooh!) Here we go! (Yeah-yeah!) Rock and roll! [Verse 2] You said, “Baby, you better watch your mouth!” I said, “Honey, show me what you’re about!” The jukebox playing a rockin’ tune, We’ll settle this underneath the moon! The whole gang gathered around the door, Cheering louder than they did before, No crying, baby, no running away, We’re gonna rock this night away! [Chorus] Girls don’t back down! Not in this town! Underneath the neon light, We’re gonna rumble tonight! Girls don’t run! We’re having fun! Shake your fists and stomp your feet, Two wild women in the street! [Instrumental Break] [Huge slap upright bass] [Fast walking bass] [Wild rockabilly guitar] [Boogie-woogie piano] [Raw saxophone] [Female Shout] Come on, sister! Hit that beat! [Backing Vocals] (HEY!) [Choir] Prove it now! [Female Lead] Well, sister... [Both] We don’t back down! [Choir] Ooh-ooh-ooh! Sha-la-la! Yeah-yeah! Rock ’n’ roll! [Verse 3] Now the music’s getting loud, Everybody’s jumping in the crowd, We’re face to face beneath the sign, Neither one of us is stepping aside! But when the final record plays, We laugh about our crazy ways, No hard feelings, that’s the rule, Two wild girls just breaking loose! [Final Chorus] Girls don’t back down! Not in this town! Underneath the neon light, We’re gonna rock tonight! Girls don’t run! We’re having fun! Raise your voice and stomp your feet, Feel that bass beneath the street! [Final Choir] (Ooh-ooh!) Girls don’t back down! (Yeah-yeah!) Rock this town! (Ooh-ooh!) Let it roll! (Yeah-yeah!) Rock ’n’ roll! [Outro – Female Vocal] Well, sister... You still think you’re tough? [Choir] HEY! [Female Vocal] I kinda like you! [Slap Bass] BOOM! Ba-dum! BOOM! [Female Vocal] Now... Let’s rock! [Final Guitar Hit] YEAH!
