[Chorus — Esther, young female voice, weak and pleading, sung] Please, please, Brooke, forgive us, spare us Look at your blood, let Lucaroth live And I promise I will turn you, I will be yours You found us, please, do not lose us [Verse 1 — Brooke, young male tenor, VERY FAST RAP] Esther, your heart’s with Lucaroth, that’s the truth, that’s the proof, Whether I save him or not, I got a choice but no room, Only enough of my blood for you, but the question remains, Will it cure him, restore him, or just feed the undead? I’m split, I’m ripped, I’m caught in the claws of the night, Like a wolf in a trap underneath silver moonlight, Wanna save you, but maybe that means I lose, Take my blood, make the choice, tell me what do I choose? You gotta know that I’m scared, but I’m still gonna stand, With my blood in my palm and my fate in my hand, One drop for a life, one life for a chance, One drink, one bloodline, one terrible dance! I don’t know what comes after, I don’t know who survives, But I know love is stubborn—it refuses to die, If fate wants a victim, then fate picked the wrong guy, I’ll bleed for the answer, I’ll bleed and I’ll try! [Chorus — Esther, young female voice, weak and pleading, sung] Please, please, Brooke, forgive us, spare us Look at your blood, let Lucaroth live And I promise I will turn you, I will be yours You found us, please, do not lose us [Verse 2 — Brooke, young male tenor, EXTREMELY FAST RAP] Esther, I’m torn—take the blood, take the chance, Take the pulse from my wrist, let the nightmare advance, You may live, you may thrive, you may rise from the grave, But Lucaroth? I don’t know if this blood can still save! Take it, take it, before every second expires, Before hope hits the floor, before fate lights the fires, I know you’ll survive, that’s the one thing I know, But the rest is a riddle written deep down below! And I’ll gamble on love, yeah, I’ll gamble on us, Though the wolf’s at the door and the coffin’s collecting dust, If you drink mine, I might lose what remains of my soul, But maybe your love will be the cure of us all! So take my blood—take the risk—let the red river run, Let the dead meet the living, let us two become one, If my sacrifice buys you one breath in the night, Then I’ll pay with my blood and I’ll call that a life! [Bridge — Esther, young female voice, sung, emotional] I want all three of us to survive I have both loves, I choose both lifes So Brooke, I’ll take your blood tonight Whatever the cost, whatever the bite We’ll look at Lucaroth, we’ll make this vow We’ll drink yours together, together now [Bridge — Brooke, young male tenor, sung, alarmed] No! You don’t know what you’re doing! You don’t know what blood you’re brewing! I don’t know what the effect will be, I don’t know what it’ll make of him! I know this blood can heal you, Esther— But look at Lucaroth… It’s already too late! [Chorus — Esther, young female voice, weak and pleading, sung] Please, please, Brooke, forgive us, spare us Look at your blood, let Lucaroth live And I promise I will turn you, I will be yours You found us, please, do not lose us [Outro — solo baritone male vocals, sung, ominous] I just want you, I want your love that’s moving I want a bloodline, a bloodline that’s choosing anyway I want a life that’s not just losing [rhythmic scatting and vocal percussion] I just need you, I need your love that’s moving I want a bloodline, a bloodline that’s proving anyway I want a chance to live this way—yeah [Narration spoken female voice only. No other voice] Lucaroth the old vampire fades away aging into what would be hundreds of years old human, dissolving into a mummified husk as the blood he drank burns what remains of him. Esther is cured instead, perhaps because she newly turned, her ashen body springs with vitality her fangs fall, her cheeks red but her heart mourns for Lucaroth. She runs away unafraid of the scattered remains of werewolves turning to human corpses drained of their blood and decapitated vampires.
