[Intro - solo] Shoes on, screen down I'm coming over now [Verse 1] Thursday made a plan for Saturday Saturday we're asking what the weather says Fifty-seven messages and nothing booked Everybody waiting for somebody's look I found my earrings in the laundry bin That's good enough, I'm not changing again [Pre-Chorus] We don't need a reservation For a little celebration I've been saving up my good mood Way too long [Chorus] Leave the group chat, meet me outside Bring your bad week, we'll shake it off tonight No more "maybe," no more "we should" Let's turn talking 'bout a good time into one Leave the group chat, come as you are I'm in the backseat singing in the car Put a little living where the typing was Less "sometime soon" and more of us [Verse 2] Maya's got a shift until a quarter past We save a seat and order something fast Jen's still wearing what she wore to work We love her more than we could love a shirt The place next door has got a cover band They don't know our song; we dance to theirs instead [Pre-Chorus] No occasion, no big reason We're alive and it's the weekend That's enough to make a memory Here we go [Chorus] Leave the group chat, meet me outside Bring your bad week, we'll shake it off tonight No more "maybe," no more "we should" Let's turn talking 'bout a good time into one Leave the group chat, come as you are I'm in the backseat singing in the car Put a little living where the typing was Less "sometime soon" and more of us [Bridge - drums drop] One blurry picture, all of us in it Nobody posted; we stayed in the minute [Instrumental guitar dance break] [Final Chorus] Leave the group chat, meet me outside Bring your bad week, we'll shake it off tonight No more "maybe," no more "we should" Let's turn talking 'bout a good time into one Leave the group chat, come as you are One more good story for tomorrow's car Put a little living where the typing was Less "sometime soon" and more of us [Outro] Shoes on, screen down I'm coming over now
