[Intro] Hey Mom, hey Dad, what’s happened to you? Scared of the chaos, so you’re changing your view? One party's been wrecking our country since ’15, And yet now you back them? It’s time to come clean. [Verse 1] Debt’s hit two trillion, Liberal consultants cashin' in, Carney was among them; oh where do I begin? Was he a brilliant advisor whose advice got ignored? Or did he write the playbook for this economy, floored? You taught me to stand for what’s honest and fair, But now you’re forgetting the mess they’ve left there. Why prop up a crew that’s bled us so dry? Values from you -- where'd they go, did they die? [Chorus] Why, why, why would you choose them now? SNC’s corruption, ethics took a bow. Border’s a sieve, drugs flood our streets, Defence left to rust, trade’s stuck on repeat. Why, why, why, in this crisis we face, Would you lift up the ones who’ve wrecked this place? Think not of me, but your grandkids, this land, Don’t let fear make you fold your hand! [Verse 2] Electoral reform? Another big promise they broke, Clean drinking water for First Nations? Pathetic mirrors amidst the smoke. Aga Khan’s island, a shady sun-filled retreat, And that dirty WE deal—the double-burger, sans-meat? You’ve always known right from wrong in your core, But fear’s got you blind to these scandals galore. Why give your trust to a crew with no spine? You're trading our future for panic-by-design! [Verse 3] Our border’s a mess, fentanyl’s killing our youth, Defence spending’s a joke, allies speakin' blunt truth. Trade’s tied to one partner, we've no plan to diversify, U.S. ties crumble—you really think this's the fault of only THAT guy?? You’re scared of the storm, but government's caused this flood, They've left us in the rain - others' tip-toes now land with a thundering thud. Why let their failures define what’s to come? Please, give me hope—I have almost none! [Bridge] You’ve seen their lies, their ethics collapse, SNC’s pressure, blackface’s lapse. Our allies don’t trust us, our strength’s in decline, Why back a party that’s crossed every line? This crisis with Trump, it’s their fault, you see, Poor borders, weak trade, no defence strategy. Why let fear erase what you’ve always known? Don’t trade our tomorrow for fears of your own! Think not of me, but your grandkids, this land, Don’t fear bein' bold, we plead for your hand! [instrumental] [Outro] So why, Mom and Dad, would you turn a blind eye? Their record’s a failure, no matter the why. We’re begging you, pause, don’t throw us away, Our future's on the line, in a very big way. So when you go vote, please hear what I'm about to say: Your grandchildren are trusting you... Gift them your wisdom, not a bill they'll have to pay.
