“WARM WIND, WILD STORM, NEW FLAME”
“WARM WIND, WILD STORM, NEW FLAME” (©CHRIS@ASTI@2013) Verse 1 There’s this warm wind in our hearts, soft as a breath, carrying us while the world stands still. At first, it whispers quietly, a gentle glow in the chest, telling us: here I am, here you live. The sun shines on memories we loved, that we lost, yet we feel: everything is connected, everything breathes within us. Verse 2 Then the first rain of sorrow falls, relentless, heavy, and suddenly the sky tilts above us. The love we held breaks, like glass slipping through time-worn hands. Every pain cuts deep, like needles, like fire, like a storm tearing us from the inside. And we ask ourselves: was it worth it? Did we give too much? Chorus 1 Then the storm breaks, wilder than anything we’ve known. Heartache sweeps us away, like waves against cliffs, unbearable, stabbing, until the heart begins to scream. Yet beneath all the pain the warm wind still blows, a whisper, a hope, telling us: you are not alone. Verse 3 The nights stretch out like shadows, every moment a pull, a weight, a heartbeat full of questions without answers. We reach for memories, cling to gestures fading away, yet we sense: life is more than loss, it is learning to survive, to breathe through the storm. And we notice that even in tears a quiet light flickers, a spark of what may come. Bridge 1 And then, when we believe all is lost, where grief is deepest, comes the first timid spark. A laugh, a glance, a flicker, and the chest starts to tremble again. The world we thought dead opens in colors we had forgotten. A warm tingling rises, the heart quivers, saying: yes, you may feel again. Verse 4 Every breath grows lighter, every day brighter, the scars remain, but they no longer hurt so sharply. We learn that pain and joy are inseparable, like storm and wind, like night and morning light. And we feel that we are stronger, because we can love again, because we can hope again, because our hearts burn anew. Chorus 2 (hopeful, uplifting) The storm subsides, but it leaves marks that teach us how to breathe, how to live. And the warm wind fills our hearts, lifting us over the heaviness, until we feel that first new tingle, gentle, quiet, unstoppable, a spark saying: love begins again, again and again, for all who dare to feel. Bridge 2 And when we fall, when the storm returns, we know: we are not broken, we dance in the rain, we scream into the night, we feel the fire that keeps us alive. The wind in our hearts carries us, carries our dreams, our longing, and we know: no pain lasts forever, no heart stays cold, no spark is ever truly lost. Verse 5 Now we feel the love that heals us, not perfect, not without shadows, but real, alive, burning. It tingles like fireworks, every touch, every glance, as if stars explode within us. We laugh, we cry, we live in full depth, because we have learned: the storm brings pain, but also light, that guides us, that lets us breathe again, that shows us we never stop loving. Chorus 3 (epic, final) And so the warm wind blows in our hearts, through storm and night, through pain and doubt. It carries us forward, to new flames, to new hearts, to new adventures of the soul. And we feel: we are alive, we are free, we love, we fall, we rise again. Again and again. Always forward. Outro (gentle, lingering) The wind softens, but we still hear it. A heart that burns, a heart that heals, a heart that opens to all that comes. And somewhere between storm and stillness we know: we survived, we loved, we will love again.
