In the moon's pale embrace On a foggy trail Mystia Lorelei With her stand Tells a tale Crickets hush As she sings her tune in the night Casting shadows Plunging travelers into fright Little Night Sparrow With feathers dark and sly Her voice sows confusion beneath the starless sky With a wink and a smile She dances to deceive Promises sight with her lampreys To believe Oh Mystia Weaving a spell in the night Eyes of the blinded Seeking out the light Grilled lamprey sizzles The cure you bestow In the deep of the woods Where shadows grow Unwary souls grope in the charcoal dark Seeking the stand Where you light the spark Eight eyes watching But none can see Mystia's laughter rings Hauntingly free Mystic serenades A melody so strange Binds the senses Leaving minds deranged Her victims wander In a whirl of dread Until they find her And their silver's shed A flicker of hope In the glisten of a grill Pockets empty As you make the kill Eyes made bright As they savor the taste Mystia's trick A night charade with haste
