Meteor Star (Live Performance)

[Crowd Cheers] Luna: Thank you... thank you so much! This next song is for anyone who's ever wondered if they mattered... even for just a moment. If you know this one... sing it with me. [Soft Piano Intro] [Verse 1] I saw a meteor Cut through my window frame It lit the sink and the floor Then it was gone again I held my breath too long Like it might hear me talk One bright scar in the dark And my heart started to walk [Crowd Cheers] [Pre-Chorus] If it can fall like that And still look holy Maybe I can be seen Even if it's only [Crowd Begins Clapping] [Chorus] I imagined I was a star [Crowd:] Oh, I was a star! Burning for a second Then leaving a mark I imagined I was a star [Crowd:] Yeah, I was a star! Bright enough to break Right through the dark [Audience Cheers] Luna: You sound beautiful tonight! Come on... this next verse is yours too. [Verse 2] My hands were full of sleep My name felt far away But that fire in the sky Made the ceiling give way I pictured every wish Written on my skin If I was just a flash I'd still count as something [Pre-Chorus] If it can fall like that And still look holy Maybe I can be seen Even if it's only [Crowd Claps Faster] [Chorus] I imagined I was a star [Crowd:] Oh, I was a star! Burning for a second Then leaving a mark I imagined I was a star [Crowd:] Yeah, I was a star! Bright enough to break Right through the dark [Extended Guitar Solo] [Crowd Chanting] Star! Star! Star! Star! Luna: One more time! Let me hear you! [Bridge] Let me be brief Let me be brave Let me go out In a beautiful blaze Not forever Just enough To be remembered To be enough [Music Swells] Luna: Sing this as loud as you can! [Final Chorus] I imagined I was a star [Entire Crowd:] OH, I WAS A STAR! Burning for a second Then leaving a mark I imagined I was a star [Entire Crowd:] YEAH, I WAS A STAR! Bright enough to break Right through the dark I imagined I was a star [Entire Crowd:] OH, I WAS A STAR! And for one small moment I believed the spark [Audience Continues Singing] I believed the spark... I believed the spark... Luna: Thank you! Thank you so much! You've all been absolutely incredible tonight! [Thunderous Applause]
