[Verse 1] Phone on silent, heels by the door She got plans, she wants more Perfume cloud in the hallway One last look, then she’s on the way [Pre-Chorus] Zip up the dress, smooth that hair Gold hoops glintin’ everywhere She says, “Tonight, I’m runnin’ it” One deep breath, then she steps in it [Chorus] Watch her go She’s ready Her sexy body moves Head to toe Tonight’s hers She knows it, oh She’s ready [Post-Chorus] Mirror on fire Look at that glow Walk like the whole night Already knows Mirror on fire Nothing to prove She gave her reflection Something to lose [Verse 2] Keys in her clutch, grin on bright Best friend texts, “Girl, you’re a sight” Taxi curb and a lucky glow Every step got that take-control [Pre-Chorus] One swipe clean, red on her lips City hum in the fingertips She says, “Tonight, I’m runnin’ it” One deep breath, then she steps in it [Chorus] The mirror cracks Only after she stare Watch her go She’s ready Head to toe Tonight’s hers She knows it, oh She’s ready [Post-Chorus] Mirror on fire Look at that glow Walk like the whole night Already knows Mirror on fire Nothing to prove Every little step says Watch what I do [Instrumental Lift] [Verse 3] Door swings wide and the bass rolls in Little side-eye, little crooked grin No big entrance, no need to pose Still somehow everybody knows Best friend laughing, pulling her through Lights hit gold, then electric blue She catches herself in the mirrored wall Doesn’t fix one thing at all No second guessing No checking twice She came for the night Not somebody’s advice Let the room talk Let ’em stare She didn’t come for permission She already came prepared [Pre-Chorus] Hair falls loose, let it stay She likes herself better that way No more, “Maybe I should’ve…” Tonight feels exactly like it should [Chorus] She’s ready Watch her go She’s ready Head to toe Tonight’s hers She knows it, oh She’s ready [Bridge] Turn the mirror into a cheer She don’t need nobody near Every move got a little spark She walks in, lights up the dark But it ain’t the dress It ain’t the heels It’s that look that says I know how I feel She used to ask the mirror “Do I look alright?” Now the mirror asks her... “How you gonna burn tonight?” [Breakdown] Ooh... No fixing No hiding No waiting No maybe She came ready Ooh... No proving No chasing Just moving Like the night was made for taking [Build] One look One breath One step Then another That girl in the glass? Yeah... She finally knows her [Final Chorus] She’s ready Her body starts to move Watch her go She’s ready Head to toe Tonight’s hers She knows it, oh She’s ready No asking why She’s ready See it in her eyes Whole room moving When she moves Nothing left She has to prove She’s ready [Final Post-Chorus] Mirror on fire Look at that glow Walk like the whole night Already knows Mirror on fire Burning so bright She didn't change She just saw herself right Mirror on fire Let it reflect Not who they wanted... Who she became next [Outro] Phone still silent Heels still on Mirror caught fire... And she kept moving on [Instrumental Outro]
