In a field outside Bethlehem, guarding his sheep, a young shepherd boy was awakened from sleep, by a choir of angels, so terrifying in awe, but they told of a miracle, prophesied before and so he made haste, going into the town, and found he the young babe, and thus he knelt down. For this was the Saviour, long foretold, in the writings and teachings of prophets of old, a babe born of a virgin, in a manger he lay, in a stable in Bethlehem, asleep in the hay. The shepherd boy knew he was blessed to see that babe who came to save both you and me. Something precious was happening that starry night - out of the darkness was given the Light. Three wise men travelled from afar many years studied and following a star, they knew this was the world's newborn King come to save man from the fatality of sin. Thank we then for God's precious son, His promise fulfilled, good's battle won, that He would save us from our sin - all we have to do is invite Him in.
