[Verse] Enemies rise like shadows at dawn Troubles surround though hope seems gone But I sing out to the heavens above For my Deliverer my shield of love [Verse 2] Many say I can find no grace But in you Lord I find my place You sustain me when I lay down to sleep In your arms Lord my soul you keep [Chorus] You are my glory you lift my head In darkest nights where fears have fled From your holy hill you hear my plea Deliverer Divine you set me free [Verse 3] I will not fear ten thousand foes With you before me my courage grows Arise O Lord bring salvation near For I trust in you I have no fear [Bridge] Strike down the wicked break their chains Shatter the teeth of hate and pain Bless your people with peace and grace With you Deliverer we run this race [Chorus] You are my glory you lift my head In darkest nights where fears have fled From your holy hill you hear my plea Deliverer Divine you set me free
