The God We Defend
Tell me... When did the Infinite... become fragile? When did the Creator... need... a defender? The mountains... need no defense. The sunrise... needs no argument. The ocean... doesn't ask permission... to be deep. Yet somehow... we believe... God depends... on us... to protect... His reputation. We argue. We divide. We raise our voices. As though... Truth. could be wounded... by a question. But if Truth... is Truth... What could... possibly... threaten It? Perhaps... we're not defending... God. Perhaps... we're defending... the picture... we've painted... of God. Because pictures... can crack. Ideas... can tremble. Traditions... can change. But Reality... remains... what It has always been. If Love... is truly Love... Must Love... be protected... from curiosity? If Light... is truly Light... Can darkness... argue... the sun... out of the sky? Questions... are not enemies. Questions... are doorways. Every discovery... begins... with one. Maybe... God... never asked... to be defended. Maybe... God asked... to be known. Not through fear. Not through argument. Not through winning. Through... seeing. The Infinite... has never... been afraid... of your questions. Perhaps... only... our certainty...
