[Verse 1] Who's in charge of the playground rules? Not just the teacher, not just the schools When Ande asked at the town meeting night Everyone's voice made the answer right [Pre-Chorus] It's not about who's the loudest one It's about what we decide — together, as one [Chorus] This is our ground, our ground Every voice makes the strongest sound Nobody's king, nobody's queen Fairest place you've ever seen Our ground, our ground We all decide how it goes around [Verse 2] Sam said "somebody's gotta be the boss" Terra said "not if it means the rest of us are lost" Scout hopped twice and Buzz buzzed loud Nanny Dolores just smiled at the crowd [Pre-Chorus] She said the secret isn't who's on top It's that the people's power doesn't stop [Chorus] This is our ground, our ground Every voice makes the strongest sound Nobody's king, nobody's queen Fairest place you've ever seen Our ground, our ground We all decide how it goes around [Bridge] Bayou Cove isn't run by just one It's run by everyone under the sun You get a say and I get a say That's how we do it every single day [Final Chorus] This is our ground, our ground Every kid makes the biggest sound Speak up, show up, don't sit it out Our ground is what it's all about Our ground!
