Lord, as we view the world around, please make our eyes to see the wondrous things that You have done so we'll more thankful be. Jesus, as we view the world around, please make our eyes to see the wondrous things that You have done so we'll more thankful be. Thankfulness grows within our heart as we give God control. It reshapes thoughts, removes complaints, and plays an active role. It knows God's standards for mankind were made so we could see His holy nature, pure and just, and true to this He'll be. It too can sense the awesome wrath our sins on us impose. Our pride, rebellion, selfishness, just what we are God knows. Lord, as we view the world around, please make our eyes to see the wondrous things that You have done so we'll more thankful be. It's here where thankfulness is born; it comes from knowing well how much in debt we are to Christ, who saved our souls from hell. It also knows our best attempts our debt cannot satisfy. The works we think will gain us life is simply Satan's lie. This mystery we cannot explain; that knowing mankind's heart, our Lord still chose to die for us and grace to us impart. This awesome truth if we just look will teach us of God's love. It makes us want to do His will and praise the Lord above. It prompts our hearts to give our best and read His Word with care, so we can learn about our Lord, whose home we'll someday share. Lord, as we view the world around, please make our eyes to see the wondrous things that You have done so we'll more thankful be. Jesus, as we view the world around, please make our eyes to see the wondrous things that You have done so we'll more thankful be.
