[Intro — slow, descending, like a veil being pulled back] From heaven’s gleam,  where stars abide, An angel walked  with radiant stride. Through golden halls  and skies untrod, He served as herald  of the Lord. Yet divine decree,  with sacred aim, Cast him to earth  to bear a name— No longer wings,  but flesh to span, The Angel of the Lord,  now Son of Man. [Verse 1 — firmer, more grounded, like boots hitting soil] In mortal cloak,  he treads the dust, Where sin’s dark weight  breeds fear and rust. Once he soared  where light was spun, Now he walks  where shadows run. Man’s heart—  a maze of guilt and pain— Spills secrets foul,  like bitter rain. He sees the greed,  the lies, the strife, The thorns  that choke the pulse of life. [Verse 2 — mournful, intimate, almost whispered] Oh, how he mourns  the soul’s decay, The fleeting lusts  that lead astray. He, who knew  the Father’s face, Now feels the ache  of human race. Temptation’s pull—  a whispered snare, The heavy grief  that mortals bear. Each sin a wound,  each cry a cost, He weeps  for all that man has lost. [Verse 3 — softening, discovering beauty] Yet in this flesh,  he learns their ways, Their fleeting joys,  their numbered days. The mother’s love,  the child’s small hand, The quiet beauty  of the land. Through mortal eyes,  he sees anew The spark divine  that struggles through. Though sin abounds,  grace holds its place— In broken hearts,  in humble space. [Final — rising, resolute, like a vow] No longer angel,  yet not mere man, He bridges heaven’s  eternal plan. With every step,  he bears the load Of sin’s dark path,  yet lights the road. For in his heart,  both realms entwine— The human soul,  the will divine. The Angel of the Lord, now Son, Carries the cross  till victory’s won.
