King of toxic funk

[Verse 1] Little skunk named Stanley Pete, Lived beside old Cabbage Street, Soft black fur, tiny pink nose… And a smell that could dissolve your clothes. Stanley sighed: “I just want friends…” But every picnic met disaster ends, One tiny sneeze, one startled squeak… And squirrels passed out for a week. He tried perfume made from roses… Accidentally melted three garden hoses, Then bathed himself in lemonade… Now he smelled like citrus doom and pain. [Pre-Chorus] Poor little Stanley couldn’t tell… If he smelled bad… Or actually opened a portal to another smell dimension. [Chorus] Ohhh Stanley the skunk, Trying hard not to funk, Every step and every twitch… Sent raccoons flying through the ditch. Cute little guy with a terrible gift, Turning birthday parties into evacuation drills, He just wanted hugs and pie… Not to make the mayor cry. [Verse 2] Stanley went to Bug Fair Day, Wore a tiny tie and hair pomade, Ladybugs smiled: “You look quite ni—” Then all fainted simultaneously. The frogs dove straight into the lake, Bees abandoned seven cakes, One possum screamed: “My Eyebrows!” And launched himself into a wheelbarrow. Stanley cried beneath a tree… “Why does this happen just to me?” Then accidentally let one rip… And every apple fell off nearby branches. [Pre-Chorus] One small puff… One gentle breeze… And the ducks relocated permanently. [Chorus] Ohhh Stanley the skunk, Tiny walking biohazard chunk, One nervous hiccup near the pond… Now nobody trusts the swans. Every date went horribly wrong, Even crickets stopped their songs, One bat flew into a mailbox… After Stanley sneezed near rocks. [Bridge] Then Stanley found a wise old goat, Living near a cabbage boat, The goat said: “Kid, your smell ain’t curse… It’s basically nature’s flamethrower purse.” “Every creature’s got their thing, Some got claws and some got wings, You got stink that bends reality… Honestly? That’s kind of impressive actually.” Stanley thought: “Well… fair enough.” [Verse 3] So now Stanley proudly walks, Through the woods and garden blocks, Warns folks gently: “Stand back please…” Then everybody grabs nose pegs and leaves. But now he laughs instead of cries, When squirrels tumble from the skies, And every year at Pumpkin Fest… Stanley wins “Most Dangerous Guest.” Still smells awful. Still clears rooms. Still once vaporized a mushroom. But deep inside he’s sweet and kind… Just with chemical warfare behind him. [Final Chorus] Ohhh Stanley the skunk, Tiny king of toxic funk, Turns out weirdness is okay… Even if birds explode halfway. Now every critter waves hello… From a safe but friendly distance though, And Stanley finally learned with pride… You can still belong… Even when nobody can breathe nearby.
