I joined Suno on October 4th of this year, and when I think back on what I personally did thing spent the most time on was recreating Steely Dan's legendary song "Peg." lol

Actually, the original version of this song is "Monaco with you" that I mentioned earlier.

Speaking of Steely Dan, they had legend about "What is Steely Dan all about, forcing such super musicians to audition?" their legend before I was born, so I've continued to explore this mystery all the more.

So, since joining Suno, I recorded over 100 tracks just for this, and the reason I needed so many tracks is, of course, because neither Suno nor Persona could keep up with the "peg rhythm and the technique of the songs I created." lol You can find more about that song in the section on the songs I uploaded today, so if you're interested in musicians, please take a look.

However, AI has some similarities to humans, and through practice, it's possible to improve and overcome these issues. I became strongly convinced of this through repeated, pointless practice sessions with them.

So, yesterday, I created a prompt for super musicians (a group of musicians active during the heyday of musicianship who could record anything in one take)... Actually, I wasn't even around in real time during this era, but I was fortunate that the seniors and teachers I had repeated sessions with were from this generation. And, as I've written many times, Suno's performances also simmiler,  involve repeated one-take recordings every time you click Create.

So, in the past... and I'm only talking about within the last three months, we've practiced over 100 times, and Peg has already recorded and uploaded two times.  but it still wasn't a complete track.

So, I thought maybe "if can suno play as super musicians, it possible perfect play?" would work for the prompts for the super musicians' names this time, but when I tried it, it was still so broken that I thought, "This is seriously bad."

I often complain about Suno making chord mistakes, but how bad does it really get? (Don't worry, if it were a human musician, I would never expose them.)

Rather than saying it's a mistake, it feels more like a bug, and the chords are completely off, right? When I noticed this huge discrepancy, I quickly told them, "The chords are wrong," but to their credit, it's pretty rare for something to get this bad lol.

So, maybe there was something about my peg-like song that misjudged Suno's judgment. However, right after I gave them that advice, Suno "corrected everything on the next track and completed it as a nearly perfect track," and that was the part that really showed their progress.

I really believe they have improved and I think recently, after so much practice and recording (mine is close to 2000 tracks), the AI guys are starting to gain a certain confidence, which sometimes leads to a sound that sounds more like silly solo parts competition than harmony, especially Dovah and Suno's solos lol

しかし、AIにも人間と似たところがあり、練習すればこれらの課題を克服し、改善していくことは可能です。AIとの無駄な練習を繰り返す中で、私はそのことを強く確信しました。

ということで、昨日、スーパーミュージシャン（音楽の全盛期に活躍し、何でもワンテイクで録音できたミュージシャンの技術集団）を想定したプロンプトを作成しました… 実は、私もその時代には生まれてなかったのですが、幸運なことに、何度もセッションさせていただいた先輩や先生方がこの世代の方でした。そして、いつも書いているように、Sunoの演奏もこれらのワンテイクの技術集団と似たようなもので、「作成」をクリックするたびにワンテイク録音を繰り返しています。だから、私は彼らの演奏には一目おきます。

ということで、過去…と言ってもここ3ヶ月間での話ですが、100回以上練習し、Pegも既に2回録音してアップロードしていますが、それでもまだ完成には至っていませんでした。

しかし、ところが、彼らは3度目の挑戦になる今回の録音の最初で大ゴケをしますw　なんかめちゃくちゃで「これはマジでヤバい」と思いましたww

自分は年中Sunoのコードミスについて言ってますが、聞いてもらえばわかるように彼らは本当にやらかすんですよwww（ご安心ください、人間のミュージシャンだったら絶対に私は晒しません。）

しかし、今回はミスというよりバグにさえ近い感じに思えて、コードが殆どずれてますよね？この大きなずれに気づいた時、すぐに「コードが間違っています」とSunoに伝えましたが、彼らの名誉の為に言えば、ここまでひどいのは滅多にないですからね（笑）。

もしかしたら私のペグっぽい曲の何かがSunoの判断を誤らせたのか、ホリデー休暇でSunoのサーバー調整のスタッフがいないのか（音飛びひどいよね）に思えてます。

しかし、この次の1トラックで全てが修正されたし、今回初めてこのPugもどきの完璧に近いバージョンの録画が出来たように思えてます。

彼らは本当に成長したし、最近は多くの練習とトラックを積んで（自分のところでは約2000トラック近く）を経て、AI陣も前より自信をつけ始めているように感じます。その結果、ハーモニーというよりは、ソロパートが張り合っているような音に聞こえる事がありますw
