[Phone rings]

[Ring]

[CLICK]

VOICE:
You answered.

[Deep sub-bass pulse]

[VERSE 1]

The room was empty when I picked it up
But something changed when I heard your breath
The hallway light began to flicker
And every clock in the house stopped dead

You didn’t say hello
You didn’t say my name
You just whispered, “Turn around”
And everything went black again

[PRE-CHORUS]

There’s somebody standing
Where nobody stood
There’s somebody watching
Like somebody should

I hear my heartbeat
Through the radio
Then a voice says softly:

VOICE:
You already know.

[CHORUS]

Answer the phone
Don’t leave me alone
There’s somebody calling
From somewhere unknown

Answer the phone
You’re already home
But if you’re hearing this message
You’re not on your own

11:11
Open the door
11:11
What are you waiting for?

[POST-CHORUS]

[Glitch vocal]

Answer
Answer
Answer the phone

[VERSE 2]

The radio turned itself on at midnight
Playing a song I had never heard
Then underneath the melody
I heard someone whisper every word

I pulled the plug from the wall
But the music wouldn’t stop
Then the voice said:

VOICE:
You’re looking for the station.

[Beat]

VOICE:
But the station is looking for you.

[PRE-CHORUS]

The windows are shaking
The signal is clear
Something from yesterday
Is suddenly here

The clock starts counting
Backward again
Ten…

Nine…

Eight…

[CHORUS]

Answer the phone
Don’t leave me alone
There’s somebody calling
From somewhere unknown

Answer the phone
You’re already home
But if you’re hearing this message
You’re not on your own

11:11
Open the door
11:11
What are you waiting for?

[BRIDGE - MUSIC COLLAPSES INTO DARK AMBIENT PULSE]

VOICE 1:
Do you remember the photograph?

VOICE 2:
Do you remember the girl?

VOICE 3:
Do you remember the voice?

VOICE 4:
Do you remember yesterday?

[Silence]

VOICE:
You weren’t supposed to remember.

[Low heartbeat]

VOICE:
That’s why we called.

[Electronic pulse accelerates]

VOICE:
We need you to forget.

[Beat drops out]

[WHISPERED VOCALS]

Forget the station
Forget the call
Forget the picture
Forget it all

Forget the number
Forget the night
Forget the voice
Forget the light

[Sudden distortion]

VOICE:
Too late.

[HEAVY ELECTRONIC DROP]

[FINAL CHORUS]

Answer the phone
Now you’re not alone
Every voice on the station
Is somebody you’ve known

Answer the phone
The future has gone
But something from yesterday
Is still carrying on

11:11
Look at the clock
11:11
Don’t let it stop

Answer the phone
Answer the phone
Answer the phone…
