[Verse 1] Oh oh oh oh Oh oh oh oh I laid my guilt down at the cross, And watched its power disappear. The things that hurt me lost their hold When Your perfect love drew near. [Verse 2] Oh oh oh oh Oh oh oh oh You taught my heart what freedom means Not by what I could do. But by believing every word That Your forgiveness is true. [Chorus] Mercy won the war within, Love is greater than my sin What You generously gave to me, I freely give... Mercy won...I live in victory! [Bridge] Because You first forgave my heart I can finally let go. The grace you poured so freely out Is the grace I now can show [Chorus] Mercy won the war within, Love is greater than my sin What You generously gave to me, I freely give... Mercy won... I live in victory! Oh oh oh oh Oh oh oh oh [Outro]
