[Verse] The bar was closed when we pulled up Just our luck But we found a new one A neon sign and we went inside With a guitar man playing "Lonesome Pine" [Prechorus] Well The whiskey's brown The beer is cold The place is packed and the band's on the roll [Chorus] And I feel so blessed Yes I do My friends and family and you Oh I feel so blessed Thank God Oh Yes [Verse 2] I'm working hard But I'm doing fine You know me I don't mind the grind It's like they say "When you find a job you love You don't work a day in your life" [Prechorus] Yeah We're gonna get old But we're still young There's a time to be serious A time to have fun [Chorus] And I feel so blessed Yes I do My friends and family and you Oh I feel so blessed Thank God Oh Yes [Bridge] Life is good and God is great I wanna live forever But I can't wait
