[Intro] Stand me in Your word Hold me close to truth When the world leans hard I will lean on You [Verse 1] You gave me a way To tell what is real A heart trained by truth A mind that can feel Your Word speaks steady When voices break apart You make the faithful strong You anchor my heart [Pre-Chorus] So I will watch now I will learn Your voice When shadows call out I will make the choice To stand, to trust To follow what is true Jehovah, keep my eyes Fixed only on You [Chorus] Belt of truth, hold me tight Belt of truth, lead me right I will stand when the lies come down I will stand on holy ground Belt of truth, keep me strong Belt of truth, all day long I belong to what is true And I will stay with You (stay with You) [Verse 2] False words can rush in Like a storm on the sea They twist what is clear They try to deceive But You built Your people To guard what will last A pillar of truth That will not move back [Pre-Chorus] So I will watch now I will learn Your voice When shadows call out I will make the choice To stand, to trust To follow what is true Jehovah, keep my eyes Fixed only on You [Chorus] Belt of truth, hold me tight Belt of truth, lead me right I will stand when the lies come down I will stand on holy ground Belt of truth, keep me strong Belt of truth, all day long I belong to what is true And I will stay with You (stay with You) [Bridge] When the pressure rises And the whole world shakes Teach my hands to hold fast When the narrow way aches Truth will not fail me Truth will not bend You keep Your people Right through to the end [Final Chorus] Belt of truth, hold me tight Belt of truth, lead me right I will stand when the lies come down I will stand on holy ground Belt of truth, keep me strong Belt of truth, all day long I belong to what is true And I will stay with You (stay with You)
