[Intro Instrumental] [Verse 1] You said it like a joke But I saw your face That little pause Gave you away You kept it cool Kept your eyes on the floor But you texted me first Then deleted the score [Pre-Chorus] So tell me straight Don’t play it nice If I’m still in your head Say it one time [Chorus] Be honest, you missed me (Be honest, you missed me) You don’t have to lie I know what that look means Be honest, you missed me (Be honest, you missed me) That silence was loud And it felt like mercy [Instrumental] [Verse 2] I know that coat Still on your chair My name in your mouth When I’m not there You act like you moved on But your hands tense When my old song Defeats your defense [Pre-Chorus] So tell me straight Don’t play it nice If I’m still in your head Say it one time [Chorus] Be honest, you missed me (Be honest, you missed me) You don’t have to lie I know what that look means Be honest, you missed me (Be honest, you missed me) That silence was loud And it felt like mercy [Instrumental] [Bridge] You can blame the tiredness You can blame the late night You can blame the picture You left on the window pane But your voice went soft When I said my name That kind of truth Never stays the same [Final Chorus] Be honest, you missed me (Be honest, you missed me) You don’t have to lie I know what that look means Be honest, you missed me (Be honest, you missed me) Come on, say it now You already proved it [Instrumental with outro]
