Unmerited Majesty

They said grace too cheap — but they can’t afford it, Tryna sell favor, but heaven already scored it. I don’t flex merit — my King restored it, Crown on the lowly, that’s how He poured it. Unmerited Majesty, that’s His reign, Blood bought throne, not built by gain. You can’t earn this — it breaks the chain, It’s a gift, not fame, not work, not pain. They preach crowns from deeds performed, But I seen grace where storms transformed. Religion uniformed, but hearts deformed, Grace rebuilds what law disarmed. I’m not worthy — that’s the key, Majesty in mercy, that’s my plea. He sits enthroned but walks with me, The King became what I couldn’t be. Yo, He chose the broken, not the elite, The humble fed while the proud repeat. They talk salvation like it’s earned by feat, But the Lamb said “done,” not “compete.” They hate that grace don’t fit their mold, They want control, but can’t hold gold. They count souls like metrics sold, But grace don’t fold, it breaks the cold. Unmerited Majesty — that’s divine offense, It breaks religion’s false pretense. You can’t climb high by self-defense, Grace found me in my present tense. They hate that favor skips the line, That love ain’t measured by your grind. They want fairness — God redefined, He gives glory — where hearts align. The King don’t trade, He freely gives, That’s why grace offends how pride lives. It flips the script, the last shall live, The thief got mercy — no time to give. Grace ain’t blind, it’s perfect sight, It sees through dark, it births new light. You can’t boast works when He is might, The throne’s not earned — it’s sealed in Christ. You see, Majesty ain’t man’s applause, It’s mercy crowned by Heaven’s laws. No self-made saints, no applause, Just nailed hands breaking cause. He took the fall, wore sin’s disguise, Tore the veil — no compromise. Now grace reigns where death relies, Majesty roars — religion dies. They call it weakness — I call it throne, Unseen power through mercy shown. He lifts the low, dethrones the known, Grace the scepter — Spirit grown. You can’t teach this, you must receive, You can’t fake peace, you must believe. Unmerited — that’s how we breathe, Majesty given — the soul relieved. So I walk with boldness, no disguise, My worth ain’t works, it’s blood applied. Grace made kings from those denied, Majesty clothed — the crucified. They still argue “earn or free?” Still blind to what Calvary be. Grace ain’t loophole — it’s decree, Majesty clothed in poverty. So let ‘em call it scandalous grace, Unfair favor in unearned place. It’s supposed to shock the prideful face, That’s the gospel — that’s His space. I ain’t boastin’ ‘bout my gain, I’m boastin’ on His holy name. He reigns unmerited, not by fame, Grace forever — that’s the flame.
