(One distant piano note.) (Long silence.) (A low drone slowly appears.) [Beginning] I was almost nothing. A breath… before a name. ⸻ (Deep bass enters.) [Growing] One light. One sound. One step. One sky. I remember what never happened. ⸻ (Slow heartbeat toms.) [Lift] If we fall we become the ground. If we rise we become the sky. ⸻ (Wide guitars begin.) [Open] Higher… Higher… Don’t look down. Don’t look back. Only forward. Only light. ⸻ (Massive choir enters. Voice remains calm.) [Finale] Ascend. Again. Ascend. Again. Every ending becomes another beginning. Ascend. Ascend. Ascend. (The instruments continue to grow after the final words. The melodic motif carries the last minute. End on a single sustained note.)
