THU- 23 WEEK. Year 2.[ O. T ] GOSPEL HYMN- ENGLISH - 1 Luke 6:27-38

CHORUS Love your enemies, do good and bless, Pray for those who cause you distress; Be merciful as your Father is, And love like the Father loves. STANZA 1 Bless those who curse you, pray for those who harm, Answer hatred with a gentle calm; Give to the needy, withhold not your hand, Let love and mercy throughout you stand. STANZA 2 Do unto others as you would have them do, Let your heart be loving, faithful and true; Love not only those who love you in return, But those who hate you, let compassion burn. STANZA 3 Lend without asking what you will receive, Give without counting, trust and believe; For God is kind to the wicked and ungrateful, His children reflect a love ever faithful. STANZA 4 Judge not your brother, condemn no one, Forgive as the Father forgives His son; Give and receive from His measure divine, Overflowing with grace and mercy sublime. CHORUS Love your enemies, do good and bless, Pray for those who cause you distress; Be merciful as your Father is, And love like the Father loves.
