There are times I pray for peace In a world that’s so war torn There’s so many needing safety Some abroad, some at home But when I think of what I need I’m reminded of Your words Pray to the Father, in heaven His Kingdom come, His will be done Ask only what we need, nothing more Forgive the evildoers, as You've forgiven us As You keep us from temptation The war is in Your hands This is my prayer This is my prayer That Your Word would be heard everywhere This is my prayer This is my prayer Let Your will be done... this is my prayer! I pray for revival to spring up For more of You, to flow out Hearts turning back in worship Of the one and true King Leading us, directing us We give all back to You This is my prayer This is my prayer That Your Word would be heard everywhere This is my prayer This is my prayer Let Your will be done... this is my prayer! More than my safety More than my comfort More than a simple life This is my prayer More than my career More than my aspirations More than my hobbies 'Cause... This is my prayer This is my prayer That Your Word would be heard everywhere This is my prayer This is my prayer Let Your will be done... This is my prayer This is my prayer That Your praise would be sung everywhere This is my prayer This is my prayer Let Your will be done... this is my prayer More than my safety... This is my prayer More than my comfort... This is my prayer More than my career, more than my career... This is my prayer More than a simple life... This is my prayer!
