If ever for a moment, i did trace the mantle of man, Wore it on my shoulders, But that was a single point of reference on a line of time i can define. I wore a face that i once called mind... Things mutter in the dark, lights that dance between the corner of what i used to call eyes... Murmur words, humor my old ways, a simple request bereft... A day in what comes next.
