[Verse 1] I came in with rain on my hands Carried my fear through the door Found Your name written in light On the floorboards of my soul [Verse 2] You saw the cracks in the glass You saw the dust in my eyes Still You called me by name Like a dawn I couldn't deny [Pre-Chorus] And when my heart starts to shake You lift it up again When the shadows close in You are closer than then [Chorus] You are my holy fire You are my rising song You lift me higher When I am barely strong Jesus, my shelter Jesus, my open sky I will keep on singing Till the last tears dry [Verse 3] Now I walk with a steady breath Through the cold and the clang Every step says Your mercy Every scar learns Your name [Pre-Chorus] And when my heart starts to shake You lift it up again When the shadows close in You are closer than then [Chorus] You are my holy fire You are my rising song You lift me higher When I am barely strong Jesus, my shelter Jesus, my open sky I will keep on singing Till the last tears dry [Bridge] I was lost, then You found me I was ash, now I burn All my fear in the valley Turns to praise when You turn [Chorus] You are my holy fire You are my rising song You lift me higher When I am barely strong Jesus, my shelter Jesus, my open sky I will keep on singing Till the last tears dry
