Septembermorning [STTZ Gloomtober#1]
[singer A] In the mist... the world still rests. Not a sound. Not a step. Only morning, slowly drawing its first breath. The forests still dream. The meadows still sleep. Everything seems to stand still. As if the night had simply forgotten to move on. But somewhere beyond the veil of grey, the light is already waiting. You cannot see it yet. But you can feel it. The mist keeps the world hidden. Just for one more moment. Then the veil begins to fall. And suddenly... there is the sky. Blue. Endless. Wide open. [singer B] In the mist, the world still rests. But morning is coming. The colours are returning. And with them... autumn. Strong. Warm. Golden. The quiet world begins to flow. [transition] [singer A] The wind is rising. Leaves are breaking free from the branches. One after another. They do not fall. They dance. Through the streets. Across the rooftops. Into the light. Summer is leaving. Not suddenly. Not sadly. Just slowly. Like one last warm breath. And as the wind drives away the final shadows, the sun rises above the trees. No longer hidden. No longer distant. It is here. [singer B] In the mist, the world still rests. But the veil is falling. The sky turns blue. And everything that was grey only moments ago begins to glow. Autumn in its strength. Bathed in golden light. The world is not standing still. It is only waiting. [singer A] Perhaps that is what autumn is telling us: Nothing lasts. But nothing simply disappears. Some things just become another colour. Green becomes gold. The light grows soft. And from the ending... comes a new morning. [singer B] In the mist... the world still rests. But now... the veil is falling. The sky stands open. The leaves are dancing. The wind carries them onward. And the whole world... flows... in golden light. In the mist, the world still rests. And somewhere... the next morning is already beginning.
