Verse 1: Raise your glass, the night is young, Stories told and songs are sung! Purple coat and mane of blue, Pegasus Donkey, we drink to you! Chorus (shouted): Hooves on the table, mugs in the air, Dance with the donkey, free from care! Sing it loud, sing all night long, Pegasus Donkey leads the song! Verse 2: Fiddle reels and flutes so sweet, Donkey stomps his happy feet! Round the pub the laughter flows, Every heart and spirit glows. Chorus (again, rowdy): Hooves on the table, mugs in the air, Dance with the donkey, free from care! Sing it loud, sing all night long, Pegasus Donkey leads the song! Outro (chant/fade): Pegasus Donkey, wings of white, Sing us home through the starry night!
