When the devil tries to take your mind down valleys dark and low To places you may never walk, but in your head you go You must stand strong and push on back in Jesus’ Name declare: Dark spirits oh be gone with you, ‘cause I’m not going there! Goodbye! Be gone! Never more to return! How many times will I allow This lesson to be learned? Get hence! Move on! I’m standing with the Lord! Evil thoughts aren’t welcome here, Your whispers are ignored! The battle sometimes isn’t won the ways that people say, You might be living a clean life, but the devil has his way, Inside your thoughts, he’s pulling you to places of despair, But that’s when you must stand up strong, say: I’m not going there! Goodbye! Be gone! Never more to return! How many times will I allow This lesson to be learned? Get hence! Move on! I’m standing with the Lord! Evil thoughts aren’t welcome here, Your whispers are ignored! You pray and read your Bible, child, but feel filled with dismay, Because inside your head you’ve let the serpent have his way, So get on up, and speak the Name of Jesus loud and clear, The devil’s evil thoughts must go, it’s Jesus that they fear! Goodbye! Be gone! Never more to return! How many times will I allow This lesson to be learned? Get hence! Move on! I’m standing with the Lord! Evil thoughts aren’t welcome here, Your whispers are ignored! Yes, evil thoughts aren’t welcome here, Your whispers are ignored!
