[Intro — solo palm-muted guitar riff, 8 bars, then drums kick in. Gang-vocal chant builds. The host can talk over this.] Re-bels! Re-bels! Re-bels of the Vine! Re-bels! Re-bels! Re-bels of the Vine! [Verse 1 — low, half-spoken, menacing] They built a church out of a glass Rules on the label, nose in the air A hundred years of talking down We walked in here and pulled up a chair We believe in truth — that’s the only rule We see a door where they see a wall We thrive on the ground where the careful fall In a trade that forgot how to laugh at all [Pre-Chorus — build, drums double up] We’re not afraid of the risk We don’t care what the industry thinks Turn it up — [Chorus — full band, gang vocals, big] We are the rebels of the vine In an industry they call wine Drink different, live it loud Misfits, all of us, and proud REBELS OF THE VINE! [Verse 2 — the reverence verse, same menace] Hands in the dirt, patience in the barrel The craft is sacred, the ceremony’s not We honour the hands that came before Then tear up the map and draw our own Every bottle carries a story Every story ends in a night like this So pour it out and pass it round Nobody leaves here with a full glass [Pre-Chorus] We’re not afraid of the risk We don’t care what the industry thinks Turn it up — [Chorus] We are the rebels of the vine In an industry they call wine Drink different, live it loud Misfits, all of us, and proud REBELS OF THE VINE! [Bridge — riff drops to half-time. Spoken call, crowd shouts the answer] Do you believe in truth? (YEAH!) Do you believe in the craft? (YEAH!) Are you scared of the risk? (NO!) Do you care what they think? (NO!) Then you’re not a guest tonight — You’re one of us. [Guitar solo — 8 bars, then one bar of silence, then…] [Final Chorus — twice, bigger, everyone] We are the rebels of the vine In an industry they call wine Drink different, live it loud Misfits, all of us, and proud REBELS OF THE VINE! [Outro — chant over the riff, then one hard stop] Rebels of the vine! Rebels of the vine! Rebels of the vine! Rebels of the vine! Drink different. Live loudly.
