[Verse 1] You keep the price tags On those thrift store coats Say it’s “Vintage Mintage” But it’s losing threads of smoke We drink expired mothballs From a chipping glass jar You shrug Say “vintage is the in” Like you’re grading each scar [Chorus] Say our love’s in near mint condition Tiny creases round the edge Still shining Little scratches in the groove Still playing that record We’re a little worn down But I’m not complaining Near mint condition and You spin me everyday [Verse 2] Polaroids are curling Bedroom wall mural Colors all fading now But we know each laugh Each fall.... You chart the moments Like cosmic cases Kiss me like it’s something You’re scared to misplace,,, Like me [Chorus] You say our love’s in near mint condition Tiny creases on the edge Still shining through Little scratch in the groove Still playing the recordings Only a little worn down But no-one's complaining Near mint condition And you spin me everyway [Bridge] Maybe we’ll yellow Ages won't fade nothing Maybe the spine bends We ebb and sway Waves write your name Across my out of reach If it drops by soon I’ll still stay (hey) [Chorus] [big chorus] You say our love’s near mint condition Tiny crease on the edge Still shining Light scratches in the groove Still playing... A little worn down But I’m will never complain Near mint condition... And You always spin me, anyway You spin me everyway (oh) Near mint condition And you spin me.... [end]
