Why'd you have to go and make your viz so complicated?

[Guitar Intro] Chill out, why the cluttered screen? Simplify, it's all been done before And if you only keep it clean, you will see [Intro] I love charts, when they're straightforward and sharp Building insights, bar by bar Revealing truths, not too far, But then you change... [Pre-Chorus] You're somebody else around every display, Overcomplicating pies, like you can't lay back, You try to look cool, but to me, you seem off track, Why can't you see? [Chorus] Why'd you have to go and make your viz so complicated? [Drop] I see the way you're overthinking, feeling so frustrated. Data's meant to flow, not congested or debated, Keep it honest, keep it neat, stop over-elaborating! [Verse 2] Launch your viz, it should be neat, Colors bouncing where simplicity should be, You're mixing up, it's hard to see, Cut back, make it easy! Smile a bit when you show your stats, Strip down those complex interactive maps, You know, you're not fooling anyone When you just overdo... [Pre-Chorus] You turn into somebody new with every chart, Messing up the pies, like you need to prove a point, Trying hard to stand out, you miss the heart, Can't you just keep it simple, right from the start? [Chorus] Why'd you have to go and make your viz so complicated? [Drop] I see the way you're overthinking, feeling so frustrated. Data's meant to flow, not congested or debated, Keep it honest, keep it neat, stop over-elaborating! [Bridge] Chill out, it's easy to keep things light, Simplify, like it's your first insight, If you only keep it straightforward, Everyone will understand your story. [Chorus] Why’d you have to go and make your viz so complicated? See the simplicity in lines, perfectly curated. Data's best when it's clearly stated, Keep it pure, keep it clear, and you’ll never be outdated! [Outro]
