[Verse 1] I saw you standing miles away A silhouette beneath the stars I ran to you but lost my way Kept ending up right where we are [Pre-Chorus] When I move forward, you move back We’re on the same road, different track [Chorus] Meet me halfway, halfway Don’t let me run alone Meet me halfway, halfway We can’t make it on our own I’ll stop returning to the start If you start running too Meet me halfway, don’t fall apart I’m already halfway to you [Verse 2] I found you sitting in the dark The weight of wanting to let go I reached for you to leave a mark But we were drifting, drifting slow [Pre-Chorus] When you move forward, I’m not there We keep on missing by a hair [Chorus] Meet me halfway, halfway Don’t let me run alone Meet me halfway, halfway We can’t make it on our own I’ll stop returning to the start If you start running too Meet me halfway, don’t fall apart I’m already halfway to you [Bridge] Synchronize, synchronize We have to move as one Synchronize, synchronize Together we can run No more shadows, no more fear The middle ground is finally here [Outro] Halfway… Halfway… I’m standing at the middle… Are you coming?
