'My Departure' I hear the Angels singing They were with me yesterday, My last few moments with them Sent me on my way.... They were sweet They were kind, Just the way I remembered those good friends of mine.... It sorrows me to leave my home here on earth, But it's my time to say goodbye To all mortals and the one that gave me birth.... My early departure, how unfortunate, was explained, On top a fluffy white cloud while below it rained.... A stranger took my hand And the clouds opened for me, There was my headstone that I could clearly see.... On it was written, "I wish you could read my mind I had much more to do, You're never ready when it's your time Oh how i'll miss all of you, On Earth I pray you have a wonderful stay, And I can walk with you again when it's your day"....*Amen*
