Warriors and poets alike dreamed of tasting it, for it was promised to awaken the fire of verse, the vision of prophecy, the roar of song carried on mead-sweet breath. When the jar was first opened, its scent filled the hall like honey set aflame, thick, golden, intoxicating. Cups were raised, and voices swore that in every drop lay the wisdom of a hundred skalds. But the mead betrayed them. What began as warmth in the throat became fire in the veins, a burning that twisted thought into fever. Words spilled from tongues not as poems but as curses, visions not of glory but of ash and ruin. Men laughed until their lungs tore, cried until their eyes bled, sang songs no one could remember the next morning. Out of this delirium rose one figure, his face pale, his voice cracked, eyes gleaming with a madness that looked like revelation. He spoke of wolves eating the sun, of ships made from nails, of gods dying with their mouths full of blood. The mead that should have crowned kings instead crowned a prophet of chaos. His followers drank the dregs with shaking hands, knowing it would consume them too, yet unable to turn away. For in the burn of that cursed brew, they believed they touched something greater, truth, or madness, or both. 💙🤍This song is a subtle (or not) metaphor for drunken evenings that start in a good atmosphere, and can end in a nightmare if self-control is lost... 💙🤍💙🤍💙💙🤍💙🤍💙🤍💙🤍💙🤍💙🤍 HEEEEEY! HEY! HEY! HEY!
