【Intro】 Friday night That's it, I'm done Weekend's here Let the vacation begin Okay... Maybe I'm not going anywhere But that's not the point 【Verse 1】 I stocked the fridge with cold beer Turned the lights down low Cranked the air conditioner Now I'm ready to go Got a pile of movies waiting I've been meaning to watch And a list that just keeps growing So tonight, I'm watching a lot What's the movie everyone's talking about? Sure, put it on That anime everyone's recommending? Yeah, why not? Bring it on 【Pre-Chorus】 No suitcase No airport No traffic on the highway Just me and my couch Having the time of our lives 【Chorus】 Weekend is my vacation I don't have to go anywhere Beer in the fridge Movies on the screen Cold air blowing everywhere Weekend is my vacation Nobody's getting invited tonight I'm staying right here I'm staying right here And everything feels just right 【Verse 2】 Maybe a horror movie That's always a classic, right? The cat looks at me like "Are you serious tonight?" I tell him, "It's gonna be fun" He doesn't look convinced Then something jumps out on the screen And suddenly he's my best friend Well... maybe not my best friend He's just closer than before Because apparently scary movies Make excellent excuses for cuddles 【Pre-Chorus】 No suitcase No airport No plans at all Just me and my couch And nobody calling 【Chorus】 Weekend is my vacation I don't have to go anywhere Beer in the fridge Movies on the screen Cold air blowing everywhere Weekend is my vacation Nobody's getting invited tonight I'm staying right here I'm staying right here And everything feels just right 【Bridge】 Then here comes the other cat Climbing up beside me Now I've got one on each side Well... that's pretty cozy Until they both decide My legs are premium real estate One jumps right on my stomach Oh man... you're heavy, buddy I can't move I won't move This is fine This is luxury 【Final Chorus】 Weekend is my vacation I don't have to go anywhere Beer in the fridge Movies on the screen Cold air blowing everywhere Weekend is my vacation Nobody's getting invited tonight I'm staying right here I'm staying right here And everything feels just right 【Outro】 Monday can wait I'll worry about it tomorrow Maybe I'll watch one more movie Maybe two The couch is mine The cats are here The fridge is full Yeah... This is my vacation I'm not going anywhere And that's exactly the plan
