[✍️ Inspired by Luke 2:8–14] [Verse 1 – The Night Watch] Shepherds watched beneath the stars, Fields were still and cold and dark, Then heaven’s light split through the sky— The glory of the Lord drew nigh. Fear rose deep within their chest, Hearts trembling in the wilderness, But then a voice so bright, so clear, Said: “Do not be afraid—draw near.” [Chorus – Good News of Great Joy] 🎶 “I bring you news of joy and light, For every soul on earth tonight! In David’s town, your Savior lies— The Lord, the Christ, the Promised Child.” 🎶 Wrapped in cloths, laid in the hay, Peace has come to lead the way. Hope has come—Emmanuel! Heaven and earth now kiss and dwell. [Verse 2 – Heaven Breaks Open] Then suddenly the skies were filled, With angels’ songs the night was stilled. A thousand voices, thunder-strong, Lifted up this glory song: [Bridge – The Angelic Song] 🎶 “Glory to God in the highest place, Peace on earth, His holy grace, Resting on the faithful hearts— Heaven’s gift, the Morning Star.” 🎶 [Final Chorus – The Messiah Has Come] 🎶 No more fear, the Lamb is born, The manger cradles Heaven’s form. Shepherds run, the stars align— Messiah comes in perfect time. 🎶 Glory, glory in the heights, Peace on earth, and mercy bright. Let every soul and voice now sing: Jesus Christ, the newborn King!
