[Chorus] My encouragement to press on? Following after God is rare! We need to just get it done! To be holy, set-apart, I must dare! To commit and be led by God; To be holy, set-apart, I must dare! Oh, to commit and be led by God. [Instrumental] [Verse 1] There’s the importance of asking; or else, from God, we’d have not. Let’s not ask amiss, but for our King; who we must live for: some forgot! Let’s be God’s vessel! Asking amiss is a result of disobedience. Against flesh and blood, we don’t wrestle; this is a spiritual fight that we experience. [Verse 2] The best desire is to desire God and the wonderful things he has for us; to truly want more of him, stand… Yes, the best desire is to promote Jesus. [Instrumental] [Verse 3] To live for God is a job full time— serving him in all we do. Also, as well, the thing is that: I’m going to ask, seek, and knock through and through and continue to. [Verse 4] The enemy would like to irritate. Know that. But we must consider the tactics: tactics to resist; God’s bigger. [Verse 5] When people try to hurt, God’s not blind nor deaf. Seek the kingdom first. Eventually, there’ll be no more sin left. [Instrumental] [Verse 6] Like running a race: sometimes people don’t make it to the end because of fatigue… But God, I will pursue, follow after and chase— drawing near: he is LORD indeed. [Chorus] My encouragement to press on? Following after God is rare! We need to just get it done! To be holy, set-apart, I must dare! To commit and be led by God; To be holy, set-apart, I must dare! Oh, to commit and be led by God.
