[Verse 1] When the sun rises I’ll rejoice in a new day To welcome with enduring faith what may come my way My steps you have directed The holy book does say Great is thy faithfulness [Chorus} Great is your faithfulness Lord Every day that I wake up you are there Every night when I sleep, you're everywhere In the tiny rustle of the leaves in the tree outside, In the tiny buzz of the bees' flight in air In the mighty ocean waves that roar What can I say but that Your hand is in all these things My trust is in you forevermore [Verse 2] When twilight falls and the noise of the day Disappears into the starry night I rejoice that even I still know You have guided my path I am always secure, when I trust in you Great is thy faithfulness [Chorus} Great is your faithfulness, Lord Every day that I wake up, you are there Every night when I sleep, you're everywhere In the tiny rustle of the leaves in the tree outside, In the tiny buzz of the bees' flight in air In the mighty ocean waves that roar What can I say but Your hand is in all these things My trust is in you forevermore My trust is in you forevermore
