[Verse] Around the table in candlelit glow He spoke of love that we should show A humble heart and hands to lend A love that never sees an end [Chorus] Love one another that's the way Let kindness rule in what we say Through every trial through every test Love is the measure love is the best [Verse 2] He washed their feet though He was King Showed what true service really means Not crowns of gold not thrones of might But hearts that shine with love’s pure light [Bridge] A new commandment simple and clear To hold each other close and near No greater love than to give your all To lift the broken when they fall [Chorus] Love one another that's the way Let kindness rule in what we say Through every trial through every test Love is the measure love is the best [Verse 3] The bread was broken the wine was poured He showed the depth of love restored No act too small no heart too far Love's the answer it's who we are
