[Verse] I stare at the sky it’s an empty gray No snowflakes falling just clouds that stay The air is cold but it doesn’t bite Where’s the winter magic on this quiet night [Prechorus] I’m dreaming of a frozen glow Of rooftops dressed in shining snow [Chorus] I’m wanting snow for Christmas this year Soft and white to bring the cheer A blanket for the world so still A silent wish I hope it will [Verse 2] The lights are strung but they need the scene Of sparkling frost to make it gleam The carolers sing but the air feels dry I want the snowflakes to kiss the sky [Prechorus] I’m dreaming of a frozen glow Of rooftops dressed in shining snow [Chorus] I’m wanting snow for Christmas this year Soft and white to bring the cheer A blanket for the world so still A silent wish I hope it will
