[Verse 1] I don’t know what I’m doing, I haven’t for years, I learned how to hide it underneath all my fears, Everybody got a purpose, I just stare at the road, Watching days turn into years while I’m carrying this load. I made plans, broke plans, made excuses instead, Had a thousand different thoughts running laps in my head, Every answer that I found only opened another door, Now I’m standing in the hallway like I don’t know what for. I keep telling myself, “Just figure it out,” But the voice gets quieter every time that I doubt, I can fake being certain, I can talk like I know, But the second I’m alone, I got nowhere to go. I’ve been moving in circles so long that I’m dizzy, Trying to build me a life when my mind won’t sit still, Everybody keeps asking what I’m gonna become, I wish somebody could tell me, ‘cause I don’t know the one. [Verse 2] I don’t know what tomorrow’s supposed to look like, I just wake up, put my feet down, then survive the night, I’ve been searching for direction in the wrong fucking places, Trying to find some kind of meaning in familiar faces. I had dreams, but they faded somewhere on the way, Now I can’t even remember what I wanted yesterday, I keep reaching for a reason, come back empty-handed, Like my whole fucking future was never even planned. And I’m tired of pretending that I’m fine with the unknown, Tired of giving everybody answers I don’t even know, “Where you headed?” I don’t know. “What’s the plan?” I don’t have one, I just keep putting one foot forward hoping something comes. Maybe I’m not broken, maybe I’m just lost, Maybe every road I took was worth whatever it cost, But I’ve been asking that question for too long in the dark, Trying to find a direction when I don’t know where to start. [Verse 3] So what the fuck do I do when I don’t know what to do? When every path looks empty and every sign points through? When you’ve spent so many years just trying to get by, You forget you’re supposed to build a reason why. I don’t need somebody telling me I’ve got it all figured, I need somebody honest enough to say life’s bitter, Sometimes you don’t have answers, sometimes all you can say Is “I don’t know where I’m going, but I’ll find out someday.” I’ve been lost for a long time, that’s the truth I conceal, Got so used to feeling numb I forgot how to feel, But maybe being clueless doesn’t mean it’s the end, Maybe I can start again without knowing where it leads. So tonight I won’t pretend that I know where I’m headed, I don’t have some perfect ending already embedded, I just know I’ve been searching, and I’m still on this road, Still carrying the question: where the fuck do I go?
