The Good Kind Always Stay

Hey, I saw you moving near, A whisper in the sphere. How do you do, in silent mode? If you might notice, I’m here. You smiled and said, “Oh my,” And clocks began to cry. I stumbled on my window ledge, You just waved bye bye. I’ve been feeling down ever since… Some days you remember through the haze, That day I paint on empty places in my mind, Each one, a one of a kind. Dark says inside, I see you everywhere, You’re dancing across my screens, And then, you vanish in the air, More tragic than it seems. Going out, Shadows darken through the air. I’m never out of my mind, What crazy always says, I find, Cosmic solar rays— I can’t let go, The good kind always stay Hey, we spoke in colors that night, The moon became our nightlight. You told me how the rivers run, And how you met the sun. Some days you remember through the haze, That day I paint on empty days, in my mind, Each one, a one of a kind. Dark says inside, I see you everywhere, You’re dancing across my dreams And then, you vanish in the air, More tragic than it seems. Going out, Shadows darken through the air. I’m never out of my mind, What crazy always says, I find, Cosmic solar rays— I can’t let go, The good kind always Stay How we moved through the mist, My hand on your wrist. You showed me all your secrets and more, On the 13th floor elevator. And we took it down. All the way. Some days you remember through the haze, That day I paint on empty days, in my mind, Each one, a one of a kind. Dark says inside, I see you everywhere, You’re dancing across my dreams And then, you vanish in the air, More tragic than it seems. Going out, Shadows darken through the air. I’m never out of my mind, What crazy always says, I find, Cosmic solar rays— I can’t let go, The good kind always stay Maybe someday we’ll walk on clouds, Trading secrets with rain. If you take my hand, we’ll move on Through viruses and champagne. With your scarlet letter on, Everything feels right. Sometimes I wonder if its all real, Or just a waking dream. Am I just passing through my life, Do I know who I am? The city lights flicker The night grows soft and cold. Dark has moved on, But you can still feel me, I’m told. Some days you remember through the haze, You are always on my mind. Painting days with you Each one, a one of a kind. Through dark I see you, everywhere You’re dancing through my dreams, And then, you vanish in the air, More tragic than it seems. It’s all true, the dark dissolves in daylight, The dark not quite Behind, We’re not over, I hope you always knew, You’re one of a kind. Like a strange tattoo, all the stars could fall, But you’d still be shining bright, Before dawn help me kill the shadows tonight, just until the morning light. The dark in me? That’s another story
