04. Too much space (Commentary)

"Too much space" switches up the vibe and gets more rocky, I think the mix of the subtle electronic elements with the heavier distorted guitar is really nice. So many cool nuances in the negative spaces in this song, which is kind of ironic now that I say it out loud. This one might have gone through the most covers and variations before I liked every little detail enough to publish it. Lyrically it’s one of the more direct and to-the-point concepts, but I love it all the same. I'll also call out one of my favorite little things in this one are the two little breaks where it sort of skips and then there's this drum, kind of a weird-timed drum fill underneath that bridges to the next part, such a cool detail.
