it's been one hell of a day, and week, and month, and then, a year, used to have a hull and a sail, before the waves took them away, drifting alone on a plank on the ocean blue, thinkin' bout all the things i'd done without you, on the driftwood, I could, dream away for hours, before the hunger and famine pushed through, rushed into heavy rain, it all rotted away, a once pristine fortress in the midst of decay, or perhaps i just ignored the loose nails, held my fingers in my ears and pretended everything was okay. waste away, my leviathan, (rest well, and good night). only the bones left, (leviathan), at least you put up a fight, (right), it's been one hell of a day, and week, and month, and then, a year, used to have a hull and a sail, before the waves took them away, rest well, my leviathan! (rest well) rest well, my leviathan! (rest well) (rest well, my leviathan!) (rest well, my leviathan!) didn't notice the storm, till I was in the eye, was about to befriend the beast, but then it died, now i'm paddling on a plank in a vast blue sea, with my tongue tied, and I wish I'd been notified, or noticed the demon inside i thought a wreck was a bastion, and the way forward was clear, now i think i understand, on the other hand, there was never any comfort there.. waste away, my leviathan, (rest well, and good night). only the bones left, (leviathan), at least you put up a fight, (right), it's been one hell of a day, and week, and month, and then, a year, used to have a hull and a sail, before the waves took them away, rest well, my leviathan! (rest well) rest well, my leviathan! (rest well) (rest well, my leviathan!) (rest well, my leviathan!) (rest well) no hammer could've saved this wreck... (no hammer could've saved this wreck..) no hammer could've saved this wreck... (yeah, no hammer.. could've saved--) this wreck..
