We scroll past pain with empty hearts, Heads bowed low, but not in prayer. We share the quotes, repost the cries— But never stop, we never care. A man lies bleeding on our feed, But silence costs us less than need. We turn away, we justify: "Someone else will pass nearby..." We raise our flags, we change our frames, But won’t get dirty in their pain. We walk on by, we know the line— "Love thy neighbor," but not this time. Truth is hard, and hearts are weak... And mercy’s out of style this week. What is a law with no conviction? What is love without affliction? If we can’t stop for those who fall… Then maybe we’ve already lost it all. “You saw me. You passed. You looked... But did not act. And I was just like you once— Until no one came back.” “It breaks you. When you’re the one on the ground… And all they do— Is walk around.” We walk on by, we look away, Excusing hearts that rot each day. But every time we choose the lie— Another soul is left to die. We walk on by, we look away, Excusing hearts that rot each day. But every time we choose the lie— Another soul is left to die. ============================ 📖 Gospel – July 13, 2025 Dt 30:10–14 Responsorial Psalm: Ps 68 or Ps 19 Col 1:15–20 Lk 10:25–37 ============================
